The Sakura RSWS series was developed as a specialised tool for demanding inshore fishing. It covers exactly the spectrum you need when facing the elements all day long to hook either the "fish of a thousand casts" or the hard-fighting sea bass. The range is characterised by a balance that covers both the subtle nuances of trout fishing and the brute force of surf fishing.

When fishing for sea trout, two things are particularly important: Range and drill safety. The blanks in this series are designed to effortlessly bring inshore spoons or sandeel imitations to distance against the wind. As soon as the fish is hooked, the progressive action of the rods becomes apparent. You can rely on the fact that fast escapes and the typical leaps of sea trout in surface water are cushioned with ease. This minimises the risk of the hook slipping in the soft mouth, even when using thin braided lines.

However, when fishing for sea bass, the situation calls for power and backbone. Here, the RSWS series offers the necessary stiffness in the lower part of the blank to guide the lure precisely through the surf or to aggressively animate topwater lures. In the current or on rocky edges, you need full control to direct the fish safely. When the strike comes, the hook is dry and the rod always retains the upper hand, even during an explosive fight in the spray. The saltwater-resistant components ensure that the material retains its performance even after intensive contact with seawater.
