The Switch Chucker makes really big flies and streamers fun to throw! Modern Switch rods can efficiently cast the short 7.6 m (25 ft) head, no matter which casting method you choose. The important thing is that you are in the loading zone of your rod. For a visual aid, Rio has colored the handling section orange. Simply strip until the top eye meets the orange line and then fire the head with your favorite cast. ;-)
Also, a light switch rod can also be great for nymph fishing. The handling section behind the head gives you excellent control and the ability to accurately mend the line. Rio delivers a variety of line options in the Switch Chucker - starting at #2.
InTouch: These new lines come with a ConnectCore that has almost no stretch. As a result, bites become more noticeable, hook-setting more effective, and improves the line control in the air and on the water.
