The Rio Premier Grand is a modern WF fly line that combines almost all of Rio's technologies to deliver truly impressive performance. Thanks to the innovative SlickCast technology, it has the smoothest and most durable coating on the market. As a result, it impresses with its simply phenomenal casting properties due to its infinitesimally low friction in the rod guides - and this over an impressively long period of time thanks to its record-breaking durability.
Its short and pointed butt with relatively high weight is particularly suitable for modern rods with fast action. It has very powerful casting properties, making it easy to transport bite indicators, poly leaders and weighted streamers. Its relatively high weight distribution in the front section also enables the rod to be loaded quickly and perfect roll and spey casts.
