Product information "Rio InTouch Skagit Trout Spey Fly Line"

The Rio InTouch Skagit Trout Spey Fly Line is really easy to cast and strong enough to handle almost any sink tip or big streamer you put on the end of this line. With its tapered taper, the power and strength of a skagit line is the primary focus. The advantages that characterise these heavy, shorter lines are truly magnificent! The relatively high weight directly under the rod tip enables you to make underhand casts in the tightest of spaces, and the heavy lines allow you to roll casts even with heavy sink tips and large flies! Skagit is one of the most popular types of line we sell when hunting salmon, steelhead or trout. Many of our customers who use their two-handed rods for fishing with streamers or tube flies use Skagit lines, which are ideal for this purpose. However, the Skagit line with its short butt is not so suitable for the presentation of delicate, small flies or nymphs - as already mentioned, this is about power - not finesse. The Skagit Trout Spey is also ideal as a powerful and easy to cast streamer line for single-handed rods.

Details:

  • Easy to cast spey fly line
  • Powerful Skagit line for large flies, streamers and sink tips
  • Plenty of power reserves for underhand and roll casts
  • Suitable for Speycast rods and single-handed rods
  • XS (Extreme Slickness): Smooth lines have many advantages, for example less frictional resistance in the rings, less dirt on the surface and less wear. In short: more casts - permanently! The latest generation of lines is equipped with Rio's exclusive XS technology and therefore offers a particularly smooth coating, which we fly fishermen really appreciate.
  • AgentX: The coating is made up of two layers, enabling a perfect combination of extreme buoyancy and a smooth, resistant surface
  • ConnectCore: Rio InTouch lines come with a ConnectCore core, which has almost no stretch. This makes bites significantly better and quicker to feel, hauls more effective and line control improved in the cast and on the water.
  • Easy Line ID for quick and clear identification
  • Pre-welded loops at the line ends
  • Loading Point: an easy-to-see reference point on the shooting head that indicates the most efficient way to load the rod
  • Colour: Pale Chartreuse/Orange/Light Gray
