It is also ideal for attaching to foam or rubber bodies, as the glue remains flexible and does not break away from the material. This also makes it a popular adhesive for gluing small eyes onto nymphs. A small dot of black UV glue is enough to give the nymph a special look. The glue is also ideal for securing knots or loops on a fly line and for repairing materials such as waders or tents.
