The Pro Sportfisher UV Resin System is a range of high quality industrial grade UV adhesives perfectly suited to the needs of the modern fly tyer. Each adhesive has a carefully calculated viscosity for its intended use at the tying table. The 'flex' means that there is a degree of flexibility and the resins can bend - rather than break or splinter like many conventional resin types on the market.
The UV Resin Mid Flex is an all-purpose UV adhesive with a medium viscosity that is suitable for very precise work. You can use this all-round glue for small dry flies and nymphs (e.g. for a hot spot) as well as for larger streamers (e.g. for heads). It dries out quickly under UV light, has a low odour and is extremely durable. The special feature of this glue, however, is the colour pigments it contains, which you can use to give your fly that certain something. The wide selection of different shades offers you many creative possibilities on the tying vice.
For hot spots or flashy streamer heads we can highly recommend the fluorescent shades. And if you're fishing for Sea Trout or Salmon at night, then you should definitely try the 'glow in the dark' colour!
