Polar Bear is an extremely rare, hard to find material and extremely popular for tying a wide variety of flies. The Polar Bear pieces are characterized by their high quality, where really every corner of the generous piece can be used. The slightly shiny, hollow hairs are not only suitable for the well-known tubes for salmon, sea trout or steelhead fishing. This material is just as ingenious for smaller fly patterns, especially in size S. Because the fine, hollow hairs give a perfect silhouette due to their conical, increasingly pointed shape, for example for a variety of tropical bonefish or permit flies.

But also a whole handful of the most popular sea trout flies can be tied as well as pimped with this material! Individual hairs of the ingenious fur can be wonderfully tied as long feelers on a wide variety of shrimp patterns and enhance them again by quite a bit. But also as tail material the polar bear is outstanding applicable, whether with Shrimp, Magnus or Skaters. A great material, which can be used not only for the tail of a tube fly. In addition, Polar Bear absorbs absolutely no water, which makes casting even on light tackle a pleasure!

Available in 3 lengths:

Short: With a length of about 5 cm it is perfect for small sea trout and salmon patterns as well for saltwater flies for permit, bonefish and Co.
Medium: With a length of ca. 7 - 9 cm it is very common for most of salmon flies, sea trout and steelhead. Or if you are looking for XXL feelers.
Long: 10 cm or more in length are used for biggest salmon and steelhead flies as well for streamers both fresh and saltwater.
