The rough Peacock Dubbing enjoys great popularity - and quite rightly so. This synthetic dubbing can be used extremely versatile. Among other things, it consists of Flashabou fibers, which reflect light very strongly under water. Thus, in its pure form or mixed with natural dubbing, it creates absolutely terrific effects. It gives your flies a seductive shimmer, so that they get the well-deserved attention of the fish. It achieves the desired effect even when used sparingly. Whether nymphs, small streamers like Woolly Bugger or Baitfish imitations, up to various sea trout patterns, the Peacock Dubbing is extremely versatile and can be super mixed with other dubbings.
The Peacock Dubbing can be processed like any other dubbing, but if you roll it loosely, we strongly recommend the use of dubbing wax, otherwise the synthetic fibers slip easily off the thread and detach from the fly more easily. The best way to hold it in place is by using a dubbing loop or spliced thread. Brushing it out with a dubbing brush gives the fly even more volume and maximum irritating effect.
