The Patagonia Pack Out Hike Tights are designed for a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, wet wading, or sports.

The material is made from a stretch jersey fabric of 87% recycled polyester and 13% elastane with a moisture-wicking finish. Reinforced panels made from 85% recycled nylon and 15% recycled elastane provide extra durability in high-stress areas such as the knees and seat. These areas are treated with a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish that is made without intentionally added PFAS and helps repel light moisture.

The pants feature two side drop-in pockets and a hidden security pocket with zipper. The mid-rise, ribbed waistband reduces friction when wearing a backpack, while a gusset at the crotch improves freedom of movement. Thanks to the flat seams, a chafe-free fit is ensured.
