Product information "Patagonia Take a Stand Trucker Hat Cap CLSM"
Patagonia stands for the waters where we fly fishermen stand, because otherwise there will soon be no more fish. A clear message that you can support with the Take A Stand cap!
This classic trucker hat with a medium-high cap has a visor core made of NetPlus™ from Bureo, a material with a full certificate of origin that is made from 100% recycled fishing nets. The front is made from organic cotton. The back has a mesh insert made from recycled polyester and an adjustable press stud fastening. The pre-curved peak offers sufficient sun protection and supports your polarised glasses when spotting fish.
- NetPlus: Our beloved oceans and habitat for many fish that are at the top of our list as anglers, such as the GT or tarpon, are suffocating in plastic waste. An estimated 8.8 tonnes of plastic waste is thrown into the oceans every year and fishing nets are one of the most harmful forms of this pollution. Around 650,000 marine animals become entangled in these ghost nets every year. This makes the use of NetPlus materials in Patagonia's products all the more important. NetPlus material is a recycled nylon material that is obtained from fishing nets that are no longer used. The NetPlus material is obtained by working closely with fishermen to keep or remove hundreds of tonnes of discarded nets from the sea each year. The nets are sorted, cleaned and shredded in Chile and then processed into 100% recycled nylon pellets, known as NetPlus. These pellets can then be processed into moulded plastic products, components or fibres and find a new, sustainable use!
A stylish and sustainably produced cap for fly fishermen with a clear message!
