In these moments, the Patagonia Capilene® Midweight Zip-Neck offers you just the right combination of minimal weight, high breathability and the best moisture wicking. This totally multifunctional shirt can be worn on its own or under other layers to keep you comfortable and dry during strenuous activities and cool to cold weather.

The soft, supple outer surface offers enormous comfort when layering. Hollow fibres and the diamond structure on the inside store heat, wick away moisture and dry quickly. HeiQ® Fresh impregnation has a permanent odour-inhibiting effect - a big plus on long journeys. The features include: A long neck zip for ventilation, gusset inserts under the arms for free movement when throwing and elasticated thumb loops for good hand protection. Flat seams minimise chafing. Raglan sleeves and offset side seams provide comfort under a pack and a longer cut back provides good coverage.

The Patagonia Capilene® Midweight Zip-Neck is much more than a conventional longsleeve. It is a lightweight functional shirt and your ideal base layer for a long day in cool temperatures by the water. As a first layer, it can be perfectly combined with other breathable layers of clothing and can also be worn in a sleeping bag when camping.

Capilene® Lightweight (LW) is the lightest, quickest drying and most efficient moisture-wicking material for functional underwear.
