The soft, quick-drying and stretchy Capilene® Cool Daily is perfect for all outdoor activities - not just fly fishing. It dries quickly, wicks away moisture, is elasticated and offers an extremely high sun protection factor. Made from 100% recycled polyester, Capilene® Cool Daily is light, soft and comfortable against the skin and has a clean design for a modern look. The details include: Hood with high collar for added sun protection, raglan sleeves for comfort and free movement of the shoulders when throwing; MiDori® bioSoft, a plant-based agent that optimises moisture wicking and keeps the fabric soft over time; minimal seams for maximum skin comfort. Capilene® Cool Daily is also Fair Trade™ certified - like so many Patagonia products.
- Cap Cool UPF sun protection
The Cap Cool Collection from Patagonia also has UPF sun protection against UV rays and protects us when fishing in the sun. However, due to the strict regulations for personal protective equipment in the USA, the value of the Cap Cool series below UPF40 is not shown. Only a value of UPF40 or higher is recognised and confirmed as UPF sun protection. The Cap Cool range doesn't quite reach this level, but still protects us confidently when fishing under the hot sun.
