These Snaps for Hooks can be easily tied onto the hooks Wiggle Tails.

With a good Thread (e.g. Veevus GSP 100) a drop Zap a Gap Brush On it will be safely secured and endures many many casts and mean pike attacks.

For large streamers, you can tie them on an extension made of titanium wire (e.g. Knot2Kinky). For smaller and medium pike flies we recommend to tie it directly onto the end of the hook shank. Partridge’s Universal Predator CS86 or the Partridge Universal Predator CS86 X-Strong are great hooks for that use.

If you are fishing without extension, a weed guard made of 0,30 - 0,40 hard mono may be helpful to prevent tailing into the hook.

The great feature using these snaps is that you can switch the Wiggle Tail within seconds. To that effect, you are able to react to different situations without changing the fly. Pike don’t react on a bright tail? No problem, just try a dark color – or reverse.
