The vulcanised rubber sole offers extremely good and long-lasting grip on various surfaces and also protects the foot on sharp coral, for example. The fine but water-permeable Airpene material allows water to enter the shoe and escape again quickly, but is so fine that sand and debris cannot penetrate. This means you always keep your feet cold on hot fishing trips. For easy on and off, the Christmas Bootie has a high-quality YKK zip on the side that allows the shoe to open almost completely. This means that taking them off when wet is no problem at all. Another feature is the TPU/Velcro fastener which prevents your line from getting tangled around the zip, so you are safe even when drilling.
