The round Oros indicators in bright, high-visibility colors consist of just two parts, making them very easy to set up. That means no small parts to lose while fishing. The exterior of the Oros Strike Indicators is smooth, preventing the leader from tangling and minimizing wind resistance.
Inside the two soft foam hemispheres of the Oros indicator is the actual fastening element. The leader is inserted here and remains undamaged while fishing—unlike many traditional strike indicators, it does not get kinked. This greatly extends the lifespan of your tippet or leader! The pressure-tight closure is very user-friendly and keeps the Oros Strike Indicator in place, ensuring you always fish your nymph at the correct depth.
The Oros Strike Indicator Set Glow In The Dark is a practical set consisting of 2 small Oros indicators and 1 medium-sized one – all in the cool Glow in the Dark color! That’s right – when the light fades but your will to outsmart more fish remains, simply grab your glowing Oros and keep fishing!
Oros Strike Indicator Setup:
- Unscrew the top half
- Place the leader in the screw slot of the bottom half
- Attach and screw on the top half until the screw and nut hold the leader in place
- To move the indicator, loosen the screw a quarter turn
- Do not overtighten!

- Small (S): The smallest Oros indicators have a diameter of approx. 1.6 cm, ideal for delicate nymph fishing with tippets of 0.15 mm or thinner. If you fish with light rods in classes #3 or #4, this is an excellent choice.
- Medium (M): Medium Oros indicators have a diameter of approx. 2.1 cm and are very versatile. They work great in fast-flowing waters, suitable for tippets of 0.18 mm or thinner and rod classes #3 to #5.
- Large (L): Large Oros indicators have a diameter of approx. 2.6 cm, making them perfect for fishing with heavy nymphs, such as when targeting barbel. Best used with leaders of 0.20 mm or thinner and rod classes #4 to #6 – ideal for large, deep waters!
