The round Oros indicators, available in bright, high-visibility colors, consist of only two parts, making them very easy to assemble. These indicators contain no small components that could get lost at the water. The outside of the Oros Strike Indicators is smooth, preventing tangling with the leader and minimizing wind resistance.
Inside the two foam hemispheres of the Oros Strike Indicator lies the actual fastening element. The leader is inserted here and remains undamaged during fishing — unlike many traditional indicators, it doesn't get kinked. This greatly extends the life of your tippet or leader! The pressure-sealed closure is easy to operate and keeps the Oros Strike Indicator securely in place. This ensures your nymph is always presented at the correct depth.
The Oros Strike Indicator Set Anti Glare is a convenient set consisting of 2 small Oros indicators and 1 medium one — all in anti-glare black! The black indicators offer a key advantage: they are highly visible under extreme lighting conditions, such as low sun or reflective glare! They also provide high contrast in bright rivers, like those found in alpine streams in Austria or Slovenia.
Oros Strike Indicator Assembly:
- Unscrew the top part
- Place the leader into the screw slot in the bottom part
- Reattach the top part and screw it down until the screw and nut hold the leader securely
- To reposition the indicator, loosen the screw by a 1/4 turn
- Do not overtighten!

- Small (S): The smallest Oros indicators have a diameter of approx. 1.6 cm. They are ideal for delicate nymph fishing with leaders of 0.15 mm or thinner. If you fish with lower line weights and prefer #3 or #4 rods, this size is a great choice.
- Medium (M): These indicators have a diameter of approx. 2.1 cm. They are highly versatile and an excellent choice for faster flowing waters. Ideal for leaders of 0.18 mm or thinner and line weights #3 to #5.
- Large (L): With a diameter of approx. 2.6 cm, these indicators are perfect for fishing with heavy nymphs — for example, for barbel. Best used with leaders of 0.20 mm or thinner and line weights #4 to #6. Great for large, deep waters!
