Product information "Nam Two-Hand Original Delgado Fly Rod 6pcs"
Behind the fly rods from NAM are well-known names from the Scandinavian fly fishing scene: Marcus Bohlin, Johan Söderberg and Mikael Andersson (Mr "Banana Fly"). So it's no wonder that these rods have been developed 100% for practical use and are completely convincing in every respect. NAM combines fresh design ideas with the latest rod building technologies and innovative carbon fibre materials. Graphene crystals, which have a very special structure and are therefore extremely robust and very light, are used for the first time in the manufacture of the blanks in South Korea. The result of this exclusive material mix is rods that impress in particular with their low swing weight. This is noticeable from the very first metre of line that you move through the air.
The 6-piece two-handed rods from NAM have been specially developed for the travelling salmon anglers among us. The practical division and the associated pack size do not have a negative effect on the action of the rods. In terms of performance and quality, they are in no way inferior to their 4-piece sisters!
A few small improvements have been made to the second generation of two-handed rods from NAM. For example, the cork handle is now in the Champions League and is made from the finest quality material for the first time. Overall, the series covers all typical areas of application for modern two-handed fishing for sea trout and salmon: from shorter models for autumn fishing on the Mörrum or the well-known rivers of Tierra del Fuego (Rio Grande, Rio Gallegos) to all-round rods for the typical salmon rivers of Norway, Russia and Sweden to very powerful and long rods for the big rivers in the far north. Each model has been customised to the specific requirements of the respective fishery in terms of action and features. All in all, the rods have a medium-fast action, which is not only impressive in the Scandi style. Each rod is provided with a suitable casting weight so that you can always find the right shooting head.
The slim blanks made from modern carbon fibre combined with graphene have a matt black finish. In combination with the discreet grey decorative wraps, this results in a timeless look. Compared to the first generation of NAM rods, the cork handle is of even higher quality and fits perfectly in the hand. The black anodised aluminium reel seat and the matching aluminium spacer fit in with the overall look, as do the very hard titanium nitride-coated snake guides.
The 6-piece two-handed rods from NAM are without question in the absolute top class and have been developed from front to back by true salmon professionals. All models impress with maximum functionality and will impress discerning two-handed casters with their low swing weight and power.

A few words about the new "Delgado" Korkers:
Literally translated, "Delgado" means thin/slim. The name is not only the programme for the new rod handles, but also describes the way in which the bark of the cork trees grows. The thin and very dense bark of Delgado trees grows very slowly and is therefore much rarer than that of other cork trees with thicker bark.
Advantages of Delgado cork:
- The smallest pores, so there is hardly any need for additional filling materials.
- So stable that no rubber ends are required on the handles and weight can be saved.
- The slow growth of the trees results in a very high cork density, which means that the vibration of the blank is transferred directly to your hand through the cork and you become one with the rod blank.
Sustainable with Delgado cork:
The bark of Delgado trees regenerates every 9 years and is therefore 100% sustainable. But it is not only renewable, the cork harvest also has a positive side effect for the tree. The harvest promotes CO2-O2 exchange and has been proven to extend the life of the trees. A win-win for us and the environment!
The processed glue is free of solvents or aggressive chemicals and is 100% environmentally friendly.
