Monster Backing offers a fantastic price-performance-ratio! It’s 8-times round braided and extremely abrasion resistant. The slick surface doesn’t damage your fly rod even under maximum pressure. Monster quality, Made in Germany!
This backing can be used in both, fresh- and saltwater environments. We recommend the stronger diameters if you're chasing big predators like GT, Tarpon or Sailfish. Medium sized diameters are perfect for salmon fishing with double handed rods and the smallest diameters can be used as micro-backing, if there is not much space on your spool.
