The Monic Advanced Clear Plus fly line is a floating line with a very low deterrent effect on the target fish. The Advanced has an aggressive taper, which is slightly overweight. The weight is shifted to the front part of the Head Weight, which means that the fly line has a good forward pull and even larger nymphs or bushy streamers are no problem. With just a few empty casts of this Advanced, the rod is already loaded for the close range and a few casts later ready to shoot towards the horizon. The coating of the fly line was deliberately chosen in transparent, as many fish hunt by looking forwards or upwards. The fly line should attract as little attention as possible from the fish so that it does not feel disturbed during the hunt.
The core of the line consists of a braided line with little stretch, which is ideal for a lot of control over the line and the best bite detection and utilisation. This is a great advantage, especially when fishing with streamers or similar flies, when the strip strike is passed directly to the fly.
The coating of the Advanced Clear Plus is a coating that should be fished at a temperature of 4 degrees and above, regardless of whether it is in salt water or fresh water.
