Theo Anest has developed the MFC Theo's Boom Box Baitfish to convince the clever roosterfish to bite - and with success!
The fly imitates the natural food of saltwater predators brilliantly, especially the coloured tail at the end of the fly is a real "trigger point" for the predators. However, the Boom Box Baitfish is not just a secret weapon for roosters, the fly catches all saltwater and freshwater predators such as zander and pike alike. The slightly shimmering fly is tied on a sturdy size #4/0 saltwater hook and has a total length of approx. 12 cm. The perfect size for our local predators too! In addition, the tying method and the use of little material is ingenious for the play of the fly. While some baitfish patterns have far too much material and appear rigid, the proportions of the Boom Box Baitfish are 100% correct and the fly looks deceptively real under water - a pattern that should not be missing in the streamer box!
