The MFC Crab Rangoon in the colour Tan is an effective fly for saltwater fish such as permit and co. and impresses with a number of details.
The crab fly is tied in such a way that the fly can be led upside-down over the bottom due to the weighting, i.e. with the hook tip pointing upwards. In addition, a weed guard made of monofilament line ensures that loose weed, such as turtle grass, cannot wrap around the hook so quickly. The tying materials such as the fibre with the rubber legs are also ingenious, as they make the imitation look deceptively real!
