Marc Petitjean uses finest CDC-Materials not only for his dry flies but as well for his nymphs. The soft fibers are more lively than most other materials for sub-surface patterns.
One of the most universal nymphs in terms of tying style! A slightly covered bead provides some attraction and the thin body sinks fast. If you don't know what to fish, this is a good pattern to start. Maybe varying in colour from time to time, but overall a great all-round mayfly nymph that imitates as well other insects.
