The Loop Opti Runner represents Scandinavian engineering at its finest – probably one of the most sophisticated fly reels on the market. Thanks to its special design, perfect dimensions, and iconic look, it truly lives up to its name: The Opti Runner performs optimally in every aspect and impresses equally in trout, tropical, and salmon fishing.
A real technical highlight is the fully sealed carbon drag system, which is 100% waterproof and absolutely reliable, even in saltwater. The legendary Power Matrix Drag starts up smoothly, operates without any jerks, and offers enormous power reserves – more than enough strength for hard-fighting fish.
Its large-arbor spool with a V-profile not only ensures perfect line lay and reduced line memory, but in combination with the impressive 115 mm diameter, also enables extremely fast line retrieval. This means maximum control during the fight – even when a fish suddenly rushes straight towards you.
The closed reel cage is intricately crafted but pays off twice: it gives the reel maximum stability and torsional rigidity while also preventing the leader from slipping out or the fly line from getting caught.
