The Lagartun Flatbraid is the big brother and slightly wider than the popular Mini Flatbraid from Lagartun. The Flatbraid is an exceptionally versatile braided synthetic tinsel. The tinsel is excellent for ripping larger patterns, imitating wing sheaths, dorsal carapaces and thorax plates, and for tying fine tags and bodies on more intricate patterns. As a result, it cuts an excellent figure on trout and grayling flies as well as salmon and sea trout streamers. Even for tying shapely bodies of saltwater patterns (e.g. Gotchas) this strong tinsel is ideal. The Lagartun Mini Flat Braid is strong but very flat and hardly wears. Available in many vibrant colors that captivate with their seductive sheen.
Tip: Increase the durability of your fly after tying by sealing the body with UV glue.
