It’s simply mind bending how much performance, recovery, feel and accuracy lies within these ultra light rods. But especially those important medium ranges are where the Zephrus Ultralite shines, big time. With consequent power and loads of feel these sticks put the fly right into the target, again and again – fantastic! It might sound redundant to talk about the lightness of a rod that carries the term “Ultralite” in its name. But the perfect balance of the Zerphus UL really makes it feel like a breath of nothing. Needless to say that already the lightest reels will put this rod in a perfect horizontal.

The rod blanks are made of Sintrix 440, a high modulus carbon fiber enforced by nano technology resin. This state of the art technology offers a 30% weight reduction and 60% increase in compressive strength compared to conventional carbon fiber blanks. Of course the components you’ll find on the Hardy Zerphus are top notch as well. The ultra light REC black pearl nickel titanium guides are corrosion resistant in any environment and spring back into their original shape even after harsh abuse – totally indestructible. A Fuji titanium stripping guide finishes the high quality guide set on the Zerphus Ultralite.
