Hardys new SDSL large arbor fly reels have been specifically designed to cope with the rough challenges of salt water fly fishing. SDLS reels cover a broad range of applications. It is equally suitable for European silver, stalking tropical destinations for the “ghosts of the flats” or when targeting big offshore game. SDSL reels feature an entirely sealed carbon disc drag system that generates up to 16lbs of braking power – carnk it up and stop strong fish smoothly. The handy drag knob has a color coding enabling you to easily find your favorite settings within a 340° rotation – a big plus especially in hectic situations. Despite the large arbor design the SDSL has an enormous backing capacity of 200m to 400m of 30lbs line – perfect when targeting backing hungry species like bonefish, permit, gt or even tuna and billfish.
