This reel's iconic feature yet remains: A hybrid reel frame made of carbon fiber and aluminum - resulting in a dramatically reduction of weight without compromising strength.
Besides the hybrid frame construction maximum milling of the spool walls and bottom result in further weight reduction and optimal ventilation of fly line and backing. Despite the feather light construction the Ultralite MTX offers a reliable, strong carbon-disc drag with a color coded drag knob enabling you to easily find your favorite setting. Moreover the drag operates within a single 340° turn to swiftly adjust the drag strength from minimum to maximum.
The Ultralite MTX-S reel still combines classic design with modern industrial features and its innovative hybrid frame is exceptionally light and strong.
