The H 470 BL is a jig hook with a special shape: The ultra sharp hook features a wide gap and a long needle point with a wave shape, keeping fish on the line as good as possible. At the same time you can release your catch without any harm, because any Hanak hood comes barbless - a very modern attitude.
As any jig hook this one is great if your nymph should be presented near the river bottom. The eye is bend 60 degrees so that your fly rides 'upside-down' in combination with slotted tungsten beads. As a result, your nymph gets stucked much less.
