The Hanak Czech Nymph DT - Double Taper Fly Line is one of Hanak’s all-round lines. It stands out with its versatile use, serving as a line for dry fly fishing as well as an extended line for modern Euro-nymphing techniques.
This floating line is very easy to cast and maintains its buoyancy over long periods, making it perfect for dry fly fishing. The so-called double taper of the line is ideal for use on small creeks all the way to large rivers. In addition to roll casts, one of the main strengths of a double taper is the control it provides and its effectiveness when mending the line in currents. This allows for precise presentation of delicate dry flies even over long distances — with an incredibly long drift.
