The Halti Fara Mid 3 DX is a technically designed, waterproof mid-cut outdoor and hiking boot for day hikes, light trekking tours and versatile use in demanding terrain. The integrated DrymaxX® membrane (DX) ensures a permanently waterproof construction with high breathability and efficient moisture transport. The abrasion-resistant upper made from hard-wearing textile with low-seam reinforcements and protective overlays increases structural stability without unnecessarily increasing the weight. The mid-height upper construction provides targeted support for the ankle area and improves foot guidance on uneven surfaces.
The multi-component sole construction of the Fara Mid 3 DX combines a shock-absorbing EVA midsole with a grippy, durable rubber outsole for reliable traction on varying surfaces. The profiled outsole design is designed for multidirectional grip and offers stability on forest paths, gravel, rocky terrain or damp passages. A reinforced toe cap protects against impact and abrasion, while the stable heel construction provides additional support. The precise lacing system enables individual adjustment and optimises the fit in the midfoot area. An anatomically pre-shaped, removable footbed supports the natural foot position and promotes balanced pressure distribution - designed for long distances and changing weather conditions.
