The ULBC Rain Jacket is a lightweight, packable and waterproof jacket designed for the agile fly fisherman who values mobility. It's made from Guidelines 2.5-layer Scale™ CORE quality ripstop nylon that ensures you stay dry in all weathers while allowing moisture to escape during high activity. The environmentally friendly PFAS-free DWR treatment on the surface offers additional protection.
Compact and packable design
One of the outstanding features of this jacket is its compact design - it can be stored in its own chest pocket, making it easy to stow in your rucksack or luggage. The anatomical fit improves freedom of movement and ensures that you are not hindered when casting.
Integrated hood and adjustable fit
The integrated, elasticated hood moves with your head and offers protection from rain, wind and mosquitoes. Elasticated cuffs and an adjustable hem with drawcord ensure a good fit, while the hem can be extended slightly to cover the seat area.
Waterproof zip and storage
The front features a splash-proof AquaGuard® main zip with an inner flap to prevent water ingress, as well as a generous zipped chest pocket where you can keep a fly box or other essentials close to hand.
Functional details for fly fishermen
The Hypalon docking station makes it easy to attach accessories or pliers. There is a Velcro fastener on the right shoulder for drying wet flies or attaching customised patches. There is also a hanger in the neck for your wading landing net.
