The ULBC Rain Jacket is a lightweight, packable, and waterproof jacket designed for the agile fly fisher who values mobility. It’s made from Guideline’s 2.5-layer Scale™ CORE high-quality ripstop nylon, which ensures you stay dry in all weather conditions while allowing moisture to escape during high activity. The eco-friendly PFAS-free DWR treatment on the surface provides additional protection.
Compact and Packable Design
One of the standout features of this jacket is its compact design — it can be packed into its own chest pocket, making it easy to stow in your backpack or luggage. The anatomical fit enhances freedom of movement and ensures you’re not restricted during your cast.
Integrated Hood and Adjustable Fit
The integrated, elasticated hood moves with your head, offering protection from rain, wind, and mosquitoes. Elastic cuffs and an adjustable hem with drawcord provide a secure fit, with the hem slightly extended to cover the seat area.
Waterproof Zipper and Storage
The front features a splash-proof AquaGuard® main zipper with an internal storm flap to prevent water from entering, along with a generously sized zipped chest pocket to keep your fly box or other essentials close at hand.
Functional Details for Fly Fishers
The Hypalon docking station allows for easy attachment of accessories or pliers. On the right shoulder, there is a Velcro patch for drying wet flies or attaching custom patches. Additionally, there is a hanger loop in the neck area for your landing net.
