Caddis flies can be found on almost every river and therefore belong in any fly box. The Indi Caddis from Fulling Mill is not an 0815 imitation of an adult sedge, but has two special features: Firstly, the excellent floating pattern (wings made of antron and front hackle from the cock) has a post made of Antron. This allows you to see this fly very well even in low light conditions. Secondly, it has a small Pitzenbauer-Ring at the end of its body, which makes it ideal for fishing as a "bite indicator" in a duo setup of dry fly and nymph. Simply attach a second piece of tippet and your nymph comes into play. Of course the Indi Caddis can also be presented solo, brown trout and grayling will not notice any difference.
