The GX1000 is a modern Large Arbor fly reel und covers all types of freshwater fishing - from small creeks to big Salmon rivers in Norway.
The combination of a precise 6061 bar stock aluminium construction and a very smooth, centralised twin Rulon disc drag shapes an outstanding and highly reliable premium fly reel. The large drag knob allows you to set the strength smoothly. But, not only the drag system performs perfectly while fighting a fish: due to a large arbour design a quick line retrieve is enabled. Furthermore, the GX1000 is an absolute lightweight reel and still offers the strength and durability, required in an adventures pro fly fisher’s life.
