With the GR80 Streamflex Plus, the product developers from Greys present a successor to their long-standing successful model for modern nymph fishing on streams and rivers. This rod also relies on the proven Powerlux Blank, which has also been updated for the new generation. The highly modulated "3M Powerlux 1000 Resin" combines precision and sensitivity with speed and power - exactly what one would expect from a rod for tight-line nymphing techniques (Euro Nymphing).
The GR80 Streamflex Plus is really two rods in one! The special feature of the Streamflex Plus lies in an extension piece. This additional 15cm rod section is perfect for nymph fishing and improves the ability to mend the fly line. The extension piece is housed in the grip and can be used if necessary without complication by simply adding it to the rod above the grip section. You do not need to re-thread your string or leader! At the same time, the extension of the fly rod makes it softer and a bit slower action. Perfectly suited to recognize or feel even the most careful bite.
The GR80 Streamflex Plus is equipped with a chromed guide ring, single-leg Recoil rings, and a hand-crafted reel seat with double lock-nuts that keeps your fly reel safe and secure. Section markings on each of the four sections facilitate precise ferrule alignment. The AAA cork grip completes the performance appearance of this series perfectly.
