SwissCDC is known for its high-quality natural materials for tying flies - especially for the best CDC feathers on the market. With the Multiclamp, the Swiss now present their first tool that makes working with hair, skins and feathers much easier and shortens many work steps. In co-operation with tying professional Christian Kuchelmeister, a tool has been created that is 100% convincing in terms of functionality, workmanship and design.

The SwissCDC Multiclamp is a modern material clamp that is designed from A to Z to meet the demands of modern fly tying. The many well thought-out details show that this clamp was actually developed at the tying table. The Multiclamp is made of high-quality stainless steel. The surface is treated to prevent glare and has a consecutive serial number. This makes each clamp unique. The clamping area is open so that the clamped material can be easily bundled and processed with the thumb and index finger without the need for additional tools. Thanks to the tapered clamping jaws, it is possible to drive directly into deer hair (or other hair and skins) in order to take it into the dubbing loop across the entire width of the jaws. Artificial material such as craft fur, fake fur etc. can also be taken directly from the mat into the clamp with the Multiclamp. The Multiclamp is therefore also highly recommended for fly tiers who like to work with artificial materials in the loop when tying streamers.

The Multiclamp jaws have a ruler with a 5 mm graduation. This means that the material can always be processed in the same quantity. Very practical! The Multiclamp has a further advantage when processing coarser hair bindings: hair can be picked up loosely directly from the binding table thanks to the small radius on the clamping edges.

All in all, the SwissCDC Multiclamp is a tool that we would not want to be without on our tying table from now on
