For the H2O Streamer Brush UV, Steve Farrar's material has been processed into a strand. A fine wire was used for this purpose. This has the advantage of being much more resistant than a brush made with binding thread in the loop technique.
With UV inks and a balanced proportion of UV Flash fibers as in the Silver Scale variants, extremely attractive effects are achieved, which are particularly successful in low light or turbid water.
Simply wrap the strand around the hook shank before tailing material and then cut into shape. A great material for medium to large streamers and saltwater flies. But also large pike flies can be tied with this material, as it serves excellent as head material.
