H2O Flipper Bodies
The Flipper Popper is a South African pattern that is being successfully used for leerfish and bluefish in the surf. A very productive fly that looks and behaves similar to gurgler patterns - less popp but loads of turbulence!
H2O Flipper Bodies are a very convenient solution for tying verious popper, gurgler or flipper patterns. Simply lay a thread base, tie in a bucktail wing, build a chenille or dubing body and finish off by tying the foam body on top - done!
A versatile surface pattern for sea trout, stripers, bluefish, perch asp...... you name it!
