Wild boar bristles

Wild Boar bristles are relatively stiff, flat and won't flair under the tension of the tying thread.
The tip of the bristle splitts into a few thinner fibres and the different color shades ranging between creme and dark brown make a very attractive fly tying material for legging on nymphs and bigger dry flies.
Though, probably the most popular pattern tied with Wild Boar Bristles is the famous Francis Salmonfly.
