Hareline Bunnybou Strips
Bunnybou Strips by Hareline are a fantastic natural material for tying different kind of streamers. This fur is from the Rex Rabbit and is both dense and soft and plays like crazy in the current. Strips are about 60 cm long and 0,3 cm wide and can be used for multiple applications, from wrapping them around the hook shank, super braided them or using them as a convential zonker for trout or steelhead flies. The natural colors can be used on many saltwater patterns too (e.g. Avalon Shrimp).
This special rabbit hair features no guard hair and is a little shorter than the standard rabbit hair on hides, but it is very much more denser. This means that when wound around a hook shank, it really stands out straight, and when twitched in the water, the hair really pulsates. As an alternative you can use the fur as a body hackle in a dubbing loop - just grab it with a material clamp.
