The Oliver Edwards Rhyacophila Wool Substitute is a classic dubbing yarn for tying wet flies and nymphs. In fact, it is an extremely accurate substitute for the original Rhyacophila Wool – the exact material that the author Oliver Edwards used for tying its legendary Rhyacophila and Green Sedge nymphs. These rather simple flies have proven their effectiveness over the years – probably due to their unique and very special colour. Further, the application of this yarn is very easy. It allows you to tie perfect bodies within seconds. It consists of multiple strands that can be separated from each other. Using only one of the strands allows you to tie even the most delicate patterns. In addition, it can be brushed to provide your flies with a very “buggy” and extremely tempting appearance.
