This ingenious dubbing is a mixture of Angel Hair, fine Flash fibres and the somewhat finer Trilobal Dub. It shimmers strongly enough to draw attention to the fly and yet it doesn't glisten too much for the more abrasive fish. Sparsely tied and then brushed up a little, it creates semi-transparent bodies for all kinds of sea trout flies and salmon/steelhead tubes. Thanks to the very wide colour spectrum, it can be used not only for salmon and steelhead flies, but also for streamers. The fibre length is up to 70 mm. There are virtually no limits to creativity and possible applications...

The Salmo Supreme Dubbing can be processed like any other dubbing, but if you roll it on loosely, we strongly recommend the use of dubbing wax, as otherwise the synthetic fibres slip off the thread easily and detach from the fly more easily. The best way to keep it in place is with a dubbing loop or spliced thread. Brushing it out with a dubbing brush gives the fly even more volume and maximum attraction.
