The DXF Switch fly rods are made with Douglas' XMatrix Carbon Technology, which combines lightness with durability. The blanks on these short two-handers offer a moderate, medium-fast action and are designed to present your fly accurately and load very deeply when combined with short shooting heads. These rods have impressive sensitivity and allow you precise handling and effortless line control. These rods are equipped with a beautiful Micro Spey handle made of AAA-Flor cork, which allows you to make all kinds of waterborn casts - and can even be used with one hand. The DXF Switch blanks are real powerhouses, bending under stress deep into the lower part of the blank to take on not only big rainbow trout, but other strong fighting fish in running water.
The DXF Series' premium components also include SIC Hard Chrome Stripping Guards and chrome Snake Guides that provide minimal friction on the fly line. The rods are shipped in a case and with a durable Cordura transport tube.
