The Impulse Nymph from Traper is an ultra-light fly rod with a fantastic balance and excellent value for money. It combines high-quality materials with the very special rod characteristics that are essential for modern nymph fishing (Euro nymphs / tight line nymphs).

Particularly in the focus is the sensitivity of the rod to feel even timid bites directly. This is ensured by the extremely fine, sensitive tip of the rod. The length of 10.6 ft. allows very long drifts and perfect control of the nymphs on the special nymph leaders. Towards the butt-section, the rod becomes more powerful and allows to exert enough pressure even on fighting fish without endangering the fine leaders.

The medium-fast, lively action of the blank offers a lot of precision and sensitivity when casting the nymph(s) on the special leader. But also with conventional fly lines, your flies can be precisely transported to the target. So you can also fish dry flies, weighted nymphs on the strike indicator or small streamers without having to change the rod.
