Greys GR80 Single-Handed Fly Rod
With the GR80, the product developers from Greys present a successor to their long-standing successful model for all types of fishing, from Trout to Pike. Of course, the latest generation of the proven Powerlux blanks were used for this series. The highly modulated "3M Powerlux 1000 Resin" combines precision with speed and power - exactly what you would expect from a modern fly rod. The wide range includes all-around rods for Trout fishing on the river, rods for modern predator fishing for Perch and Pike, longer models for use on stillwaters, and even rods suitable for Salmon fishing. The rods can be used in many different fisheries, ranging from Iceland to smaller rivers in Sweden, Norway, or the UK. We use a #7 in 11ft on our travels North for use with short shooting heads.
Equipped with a chromed guide ring, single-foot Recoil rings and a hand-crafted reel seat with double lock-nuts, the GR80 keeps your fly reel safe and secure. Section markings on each of the four sections facilitate precise ferrule alignment. The AAA cork grip completes the performance appearance of this series perfectly.
