Unlike the shorter Upstream rods, the Upstream Plus is a touch faster and allows you to use nymphs or streamers as well. You can still use ultra-fine tippets without hesitation, as the sensitive tip safely buffers sudden escapes. The progressive action of these blanks also stands up to big brown trout and grayling and helps you to guide the fish quickly and safely into the landing net. The carbon blanks of the Upstream Plus fly rods are equipped with a first-class cork finish. We particularly like this traditional look! The fly reel is fixed with a high-quality Up-Locking reel seat on all models and the natural Tonkin colouring exudes the charm of timeless bamboo rods. Clear decorative wraps round off the very beautiful overall appearance of these rods and underline the minimalist finish of impeccable quality.
