Furthermore, it is also perfect for light saltwater applications such as sea trout, mackerel, and pollack, covering most areas of light to medium streamer fishing.
The centerpiece of the set is the high-quality rod with an unsanded, unpainted blank, which, thanks to its user-friendly, medium-fast action combined with a strong backbone, makes casting weighted and wind-resistant flies easier. The EVA grip of the fly rod is robust, easy to clean, and exceptionally comfortable to hold even in cold weather.
The reel is a custom variant of the popular Hero fly reel, which features finely adjustable and smoothly running disc brakes and is also pleasantly lightweight. The reel comes pre-spooled with 20 lbs backing, a Vision Vibe 85 fly line, and a 9ft leader. The Vision Vibe 85 fly line features a compact 8.5-meter long sinking head (Sink3), which effortlessly transports the streamer to depth and harmonizes beautifully with the rod's blank.
