Guideline Laxa Seatrout Kit Single-Handed Fly Rod
The Guideline Laxa Seatrout Kit has been designed for coastal and riverine sea trout fishing and includes all it takes for a successful season. The kit “comes ready to go” and consists of a Guideline Laxa rod (9,6ft #7) and a Guideline FAVO fly reel which is already pre-spooled with Backing and Guidelines Custom WFF fly line.
Laxa fly rods feature a crisp medium-fast action which due to the reduced resin content is much more responsive and recovers quicker than former Guideline kit rods. Due to its plus in length the 9,6ft long #7 weight rod excels in casting when wading deeply along the coastline. But also when fishing streams the extra 6inch come in handy offering improved single-hand Spey and roll-casts, efficient mending and an overall increased line control.
The Laxa kit comes with the Guideline FAVO 79 fly reel which is inspired by the design of the popular Guideline Vosso reel. However, by using modern die-casting technology coupled with CNC finishing FAVO reels are comparatively lighter. Featuring a solid, precise and smooth drag system that has proven well over years FAVO reels are reliable companions for fighting strong sea trout. The reel is pre-spooled with backing, a Guideline Custom WF floating line and a tapered leader.
