Winston Nimbus - Double Handed Fly Rod

Inspired and based on the popular and highly praised Boron fly rods Winston launches their new Nimbus rod series with 100% premium graphite technology. The Nimbus incorporates the best of 90 years of rod design and experience featuring the same high performance, multi modulus carbon blank that is used for the company’s flagship rod, the Boron.

The Nimbus double hand features a fast, mid–tip flex taper that fulfills all quality standards and performance characters that you are looking for in a Winston fly rod. Nimbus double hand rods combine incredibly smooth casting with true “Winston-feeling” and crisp power – they cast tight loops effortlessly over all distances and progressively increase line speed without tilting.

With its strong backbone and progressive action the Nimbus effortlessly lifts, anchors and fires shooting heads very dynamically and is well suited for both Skagit and Scandi style lines! The Nimbus double hand series is available from class #6 to #8 and thus covers everything from light summer fishing with low flows to swinging heavy sinkers and weighted flies in large rivers.
