Orvis Clearwater Trout Spey Double Handed Fly Rod

Trout Spey fly rods are becoming more and more of a trend, because fishing with the light two-handed rods offers an ingenious opportunity to fish for trout, for example, and to reach untouched sections of river. Heavily overgrown banks, little backwater or simply a wide river often mean that the other bank cannot be reached and we have to concentrate on our side of the river. This is where the advantages of the Trout Spey fly rod are clear, and not just with the streamer. The light two-handed rods offer the possibility of reaching long distances with an underhand cast, whether in Scandi or Skagit style. A small amount of backcast is enough to get the streamer or nymph rig to the opposite bank. And all this without having to compromise on the fun of the fight, because the fine rods in the #3 and #4 classes offer a high fun factor when casting and fighting!

The Orvis Clearwater Trout Spey double-handed fly rod is perfect for beginners and advanced anglers alike. The 4-piece rod has a chrome and black blank with the classic white Orvis accents and rod identification. The rod has an ingenious, consistent and sensitive action and easily transports the fly to the desired spot with an underhand cast to fish the next section in the swing. The Clearwater's guides are hard chrome-plated snake guides and guide guides with a ceramic insert, through which the line shoots particularly well. The handle of the Clearwater has a distinctive shape, which is an advantage when fishing with a two-handed rod. The shape of the handle allows the rod to be turned gently and smoothly in the palm of the hand before casting. At the ends of the handle, as well as the fight butt, there are mixed cork washers, which ensure improved durability of the cork handle. A black reel seat with double counter nut made of aluminum completes the picture of the Orvis Clearwater Trout Spey perfectly.

In short: Whether for beginners or professionals, the Orvis Clearwater Trout Spey offers everyone the opportunity to rediscover their trout waters with the streamer or nymph. But also for other fish such as asp in the river or sea trout in the Baltic Sea, a light two-handed rod can be the key to success whenever the backwater is limited!
